We're Making Multi-Channel Advertising Accessible to Every Merchant

Bamzal is an advertising technology startup born out of real frustration with how hard it is for small e-commerce businesses to compete on Google, Meta (Facebook & Instagram), TikTok, Pinterest and X.

Where It Started

In early 2025, our founder was running a Shopify store selling home textiles to US customers. The products were great, the reviews were strong, and the prices were competitive. But there was one problem: nobody could find the store on Google.

Meanwhile, larger competitors — some selling inferior products at higher prices — dominated the first page of Google search results and the feeds of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest. They had agencies, data teams, and marketing budgets that made it impossible to compete. The founder tried learning Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok and Pinterest on his own: he spent weeks watching tutorials, reading documentation, and experimenting with campaigns on every network. Most of that budget was wasted.

That experience revealed a fundamental problem in e-commerce: the gap between small merchants and big brands isn't about product quality — it's about access to advertising intelligence.

What We're Building

Bamzal is a Shopify embedded application that replaces the need for expensive ad agencies. The platform scans your product catalog, analyzes your competitive landscape using real Google search data, and uses Anthropic's Claude AI to generate complete advertising campaigns — from keyword research to ad copy to budget recommendations.

The key principle: merchants stay in control. Every campaign is created in paused mode inside the merchant's own Google Ads, Meta (Facebook & Instagram), TikTok Ads or Pinterest Ads account. No ad goes live, no budget is spent, and no changes happen without explicit approval. We act as the intelligence layer — the merchant makes the decisions.

Unlike generic keyword tools or basic ad generators, our AI acts like a senior campaign manager at a top agency. It doesn't just suggest keywords — it studies your specific competitors, identifies weaknesses in their strategy, scores each product's advertising potential, and creates campaigns optimized for your unique market position.

Building the Foundation

Development begins on the Shopify embedded app. Core architecture established: Remix/React frontend, PostgreSQL database, Shopify App Bridge integration.

Q2 2025

AI Intelligence Engine

Anthropic's Claude AI integrated as the "brain" of the platform. Real-time competitor analysis pipeline built using multiple search data providers. AI generates complete ad campaigns from real market data.

Q3 2025

Multi-Channel Ad API Integration

Direct integration completed with the Google Ads API, Meta Marketing API (Facebook & Instagram), TikTok Marketing API and Pinterest Ads API. Campaign creation, keyword/audience management, and performance reporting across every network — all from within the Shopify dashboard.

Q4 2025

Enterprise-Grade Infrastructure

Redis caching layer, Sentry monitoring, CI/CD pipeline, rate limiting, and database retry logic added. Platform hardened for production reliability.

2026

First Users & Growth

First paying customers onboarded. Platform expanded with campaign management dashboard, AI credits system, and Performance Max campaign support.
